News - Riding in the Bed of a Pickup

Effective March 28, 2001 House Bill No. 4392 has made it a civil infraction for any person under the age of 18 years of age to ride in the open bed of a pickup truck on any public roadway with a speed greater than 15 miles per hour.

Their are exceptions built into the law allowing for official parades, emergency vehicles, farm operations or construction business during the course of work activities.
